 Harris Essential™ Series offer secure, reliable and cost-effective -85ºC storage. Upright and chest models are available from 3.0 cu. ft. Models shown with optional recorders, inventory racks, boxes and cryo gloves.

Control System:
- Dependable, electronic controller with adjustable setpoints
- Large, easy-to-read digital temperature display
- Built-in voltage boost maintains ample power at all times, protects compressor and other components during low voltage conditions
Alarm System:
- Audible warm alarm with auto-charge battery backup
- Preset overtemperature alarm limit parameter
- Large, easy-to-read digital display
- Key switch for on/off operation
- Exterior alarm contacts connect to remote monitoring system
Upright Cabinet Construction:
- Minimum 5 in. (128mm) high-density, foamed-in-place urethane insulation is closed-cell and CFC-free to protect product against high-ambient conditions
- Four shelves (three adjustable) create interior compartments
- Five plastic inner doors feature magnetic latches
- CryoLatch™ door latch provides one-handed operation for easier access to inventory and two locking methods for maximum security
- Insulated outer door prevents condensation
- Double door gaskets minimize frost buildup
- Sound-absorbing insulation
- Access port is 1 in. (25mm)
- Heavy duty swivel casters with (2) leveling feet
- Scratch-resistant steel exterior
- Rounded, painted interior corners for easy cleaning
Chest Cabinet Construction:
- Low-profile design allows for easier access to inventory

- Keyed lid lock for secrity (3 cu.ft. model includes provision for padlock)
- Dual lid gaskets reduce frost accumulatoin

- Heavy-duty swivel casters
- Scratch-resistant steel exterior

Refrigeration System:
- High-performance, hermetically sealed (1-HP) compressor(s) One for -40ºC and -45ºC models; two for -85ºC models
- Downfeed evaporator provides optimally efficient refrigerant flow
- Timed evaporator flushing cycle and sequenced compressor starting require less energy and extend compressor life
- Intake filter can be removed without tools for easy cleaning
- CFC-free refrigerants
- Sound-absorbing insulation
