FC Series refrigerators include a complete range of control and cabinet features: CryoLogic™ microprocessor-based controls, digital temperature display, keyed on/off power switch, independent switch for interior lighting, dual access ports for chromatography instrumentation, and CFC-free refrigerants, foam insulation and packaging.

The FC Economy Series models FC431A and FC443A provide cost effective alternatives where required. Puffer Hubbard economy models FC431A and FC443A include automatic defrost, built-in condensate drain and internal dial thermometer. A 2" access port and vapor-proof outlet are standard. Exterior surfaces are protected with a scratch-resistant white acrylic finish.

The FC Economy Series is intended for basic laboratory use only. Storage of high value life science materials or critical biologicals may require alarm, monitoring, back-up and temperature performance features. The need to add these features should be determined by your industrial hygienist or safety officer.

The FC Series chromatography refrigerator represents Puffer Hubbard’s full-featured offering of chromatography cabinets in a temperature range of +1° C to +8°C. Designed for laboratory and life science applications which demand close temperature control and easy set-up of instrumentation and apparatus, the FC Series full-featured models include CryoLogic™ microprocessor-based controls with digital temperature setpoint and display. A choice of models and accessories allows you to meet your specific requirements for size and alarm/monitoring features.

CryoLogic Control System: Key-operated power switch for security; includes digital display, graphic thermometer, automatic defrost system, alarm/monitor for overtemp, door ajar, power failure, low alarm battery and maintenance alert.

Operating Temperature: Adjustable, +1°C to +8°C.

Control/Display: Fully integrated control module. Digital display with resolution to within 1°C.

Inventory System: Adjustable full and half wire shelves.

Refrigeration System: Industrial refrigeration compressor. Directional air-flow system for uniform cabinet temperature. CFC-free refrigerants are standard.

Defrost: Automatic, upon demand, no defrost timer required. A built-in condensate evaporator eliminates need for a drain line.

Cabinet Construction: Two 2" dia. access ports with hinged covers. Leveling feet and casters (customer installed) are standard. CFC-free foamed insulation provides added protection.

Door(s): Multi-pane glass door(s) with spring-loaded closures and 90° stay-open feature. Closed-cell gaskets maintain interior temperature. Keyed door locks are standard.

Lights: Fully lighted interior chamber with control panel switch for lights.

Electrical: Two vapor-proof interior outlets, continuous ON. Separate power required on 45.8, 51.1 and 78.8 cu.ft. models.

Optional Accessories: 7-day temperature recorder, pole mast for chromatography, validation testing.

Finish: Interior and exterior surfaces are finished with a high impact, powder coat paint.
