LabStir is an ultra-flat, magnetic stirrer that allows you to mix media (not exceeding a medium viscosity) or to dissolve materials in a solution.
How does it work? Mixing is accomplished by placing a stirring bar, which turns under the influence of a magnetic field, in the solution to be mixed.
LabStir is chemically compatible with most acids, bases and buffers—even with corrosive solutions (phenol, etc.). It is frictionless, with no moving parts. This prevents heat transfer to the solution, even when mixing for long periods of time.
