The LANCER 4800 TI freestanding glassware washer has professional features including exterior construction of 304 L stainless steel and interior construction of 316L stainless steel of the chamber, valves and door. The 4800 TI washer has 40 microprocessor controlled programs and self-diagnostic software for monitoring all aspects of operation. The powerful hydraulic circuit, including the main recycling pump, is constructed entirely of stainless steel to withstand aggressive chemicals. The 4800 TI chamber is insulated for quiet operation. Built in detergent and acid neutralizer peristaltic pumps provide labor free dosing of cleaning chemicals while chemical level sensors alert operator by audible and visual alarm when volume of detergent and acid becomes too low. LANCER’s Triple Filter System protects the circulation pump from glass and debris.

LANCER’s exclusive Super Drying System is available as an additional option on this model. (4800 TI SS – 4800 TI DPSS) The TI series washers also have available double doors as an option for pass through applications. The LANCER 4800 TI has a single wash level for washing large items. Racks are sold separately.

Programming and Operations:

The 4800 TI freestanding glassware washer has 40 flexible programs controlled by the microprocessor. Individually selected programs are available and stored in the microprocessor memory. The system control panel has a 4 ½ inch LCD with up to 16 character naming capability to interface with the washer. Calibrateable temperature probes are standard for the 4800 TI washer.

Self-diagnostic monitoring of all functions with audible and visual fault alarms provide quality control to each wash cycle. Two independent sensors control chamber water level and prevent water overflow. The washer has an electronic thermostat for independent selection by the user of temperature for pre-wash, wash and final rinse cycles between ambient and 95°C.

The 4800 TI has two (2) 5 HP wash pumps with a capacity of 170 gal/min (670 l/min).

The 4800 TI has door locks to prevent interference with the wash cycle once it is in operation.

Construction: The 4800 TI freestanding glassware washer is constructed of sanitary high-grade finish AISI 304L stainless steel. The interior of the 4800 TI chamber, the pump, the piston valves and the door are all constructed of 316L stainless steel. The interior of the chamber is electronically welded under Argon protection. All components that come in contact with wash and rinse solutions are of stainless steel.

The freestanding washer has a front-loading door that is counterbalanced for ease of operation and loading of glassware baskets and accessories. The 4800 TI is double wall constructed, fully insulated and does not include a window on the door, minimizing heat loss and eliminating noise.

Another important feature of the 4800 TI freestanding washer is the Triple Filter System in the wash chamber. This system protects the washer, including the upper and lower rotating spray arms, during water recirculation and also protects the drain pump from debris. Additionally all incoming water lines contain filters.

Dimensions and Capacities: The 4800 TI freestanding glassware washer has a sizeable chamber and single level of washing to wash large vessels and carboys as well as other items.

Super Drying System: LANCER’s exclusive Super Drying System has a 14.4 kW heating element and blower to provide drying up to 110°C by directing hot air into the chamber and via spindles for external coverage of washed items. This integrated dual drying system eliminates the need for an independent drying unit and eliminates double handling of glassware. The LANCER models 4800 TISS and 4800 TI DPSS glassware washers have the integrated Super Drying System.

HEPA Filter: HEPA filtration is available as an option providing 99.99% absolute filtration of drying air.

Double Door: The 4800 TISS and 4800 TI DPSS washers have 2 doors for pass through washing applications such as in facilities where the machine is to be installed in a wall separating the clean area of the laboratory from the dirty area. These units have door interlocks to preserve the integrity of the clean area by not allowing the doors to be opened during the wash cycle and also to prevent both doors from being opened at the same time.
