Internal impeller is useful because it decreases risk of contamination thorugh the cap. Has an adjustable shaft to align the paddle with the bottom of the flask. Large paddle promotes increased oxygenation with low shear. Stainless steel shaft design prevents cell damage and minimizes magnetic decoupling.
