YSI analyzers measure selected key ingredients and byproducts in process settings and in quality assurance laboratories. Among the analytes are glucose, sucrose, lactose, starch, choline, glutamate and ethanol. In food spoilage applications, lactate and ethanol levels provide quantitative evidence of unwanted microbes.
