Quantitative Western Blotting

Quantitative Western Blotting uses infrared fluorescence, LI-COR's IRDye secondary antibodies, and Odyssey imagers to detect Western blots without film, a darkroom, or any chemiluminescent substrates. This allows you to accurately quantify both low and high-abundance proteins across the widest possible linear dynamic range. The sensitivity of infrared fluorescence matches or exceeds chemiluminescence detection and surpasses visible fluorescence detection. With quantitative Western blotting you can also detect two different targets on the same blot without having to strip and reprobe the blot.
