It's your pipette, your way
Research 3 neo pipettes are designed to give you options, allowing for a pipetting experience tailored to your needs. With changeable volume setting speeds, temporary adjustment settings, the universal tip cone system and removable labelling rings, you can experience precision and efficiency that is powered by choice.
Adjust it! Volume gear shift
Use the innovative volume gear shift to effortlessly switch between two volume adjustment speeds. Choose the 'fast' speed to accelerate your pipette volume changes by up to 40%*. Alternatively, choose the 'easy' speed to reduce the operational force required, alleviating muscular fatigue and allowing for easy, one-handed volume changes.
*Time-saving is dependent on the pipette model used.
Modify it! Temporary liquid type adjustment
Customize your pipette settings to ensure accuracy and precision in every experiment. The Research 3 neo mechanical pipettes can be temporarily adjusted for different non-aqueous liquids, tip geometries, reverse pipetting, or your lab's altitude without changing the calibration settings. This adaptability helps you tailor your pipette to your specific liquid handling needs.
Attach it! Designed for epT.I.P.S.® pipette tips but compatible with others
Always remember that the tip is an integral part of your pipetting system and experience. Research 3 neo pipettes and epT.I.P.S. pipette tips are designed to work in perfect unison, ensuring high precision and accuracy. With Eppendorf's extensive range of tip variants and certified purity grades, their consumables are tailored to meet diverse requirements in today's labs. Nevertheless, the open cone system of the Research 3 pipettes also allows you to use a variety of other compatible tips.
Tag it! ColorTag pipette marking rings
Make your pipette your own and keep track of its calibration date or other information with the new silicone pipette marking rings, available in twelve colours and six sizes (sold separately). Write your name, application, lab or any other important details onto the ColorTag marking ring, and easily update or change these when required.
A pipette you can count on
You're in safe hands with the Eppendorf Research 3 pipettes. This next generation of mechanical pipettes is crafted with the same excellence in liquid handling that has made Eppendorf pipettes so well-loved in labs all around the world.
Eppendorf Research 3 neo pipettes feature a volume lock: just set your desired volume into place, and switch the lock to prevent any unintended volume changes during pipetting.
Crafted for liquid handling excellence
Undergoing an extensive testing process, plus featuring single-cast housings and only highly durable quality materials, these pipettes are built with longevity, accuracy, and reliability in mind.
When used in combination with high-quality epT.I.P.S. pipette tips, reduced-force tip attachment and ejection with complete sealing can be achieved. Effortless cleaning and maintenance
Full autoclavability without disassembly, along with high resistance to UV, hydrogen peroxide and other chemicals transforms routine cleaning of the Research 3 neo pipettes into a walk in the park. Even deep cleaning is simplified with the easy disassembly of lower parts. And when reassembling the pipette after deep cleaning, serial number prints on both upper and lower parts ensure an easy and error-free reassembly. Additionally, a wide range of original spare parts is available to expedite repairs.
Wave goodbye to muscular strain and fatigue
Streamline your pipetting and wave goodbye to muscular strain. Eppendorf Research 3 neo pipettes are light on hands, but heavy on precision, offering smoother operation than ever before.New operating concept and ergonomic design
Sail through long hours in the lab with a pipette that is made for your hands. Research 3 neo pipettes boast Eppendorf's perfectly balanced, organic, and lightweight design. Plus, with the ergonomic fingerhook and 4-digit volume display with magnifying glass, you can find your best and most comfortable fit.
With a pipetting button that includes an integrated volume adjustment function and features a large surface area, the Research 3 neo has a reduced distance from the hand rest to the top of the pipette button. This design improves ease and comfort, especially for smaller hands, minimizing thumb and hand strain when aspirating and dispensing liquids for prolonged periods.
Reduced tip attachment and ejection forces
All Eppendorf Research 3 neo pipettes feature spring-loaded tip cones for an effortless tip fit. The integrated haptic feedback allows for easy tip attachment with a gentle push-down, minimizing attachment and ejection forces while guaranteeing a safe and reproducible tip fit.

Disposal of packaging and the pipette at the end of its lifecycle
The packaging of Eppendorf Research 3 pipettes primarily contains cardboard. Plastic foil is limited to a small plastic bag for filters, as well as the foliation for pipette tip boxes included. Eppendorf's Research 3 pipette packaging cardboard consists of approx. 95% recycling material. Please support the global sustainability initiative of recycling valuable raw material by collecting the cardboard and disposing of it in the appropriate collection container at your organization. For the tip box wrapping foils made of LD-PE, it is recommended to select a dedicated recycling partner where PE material can be recycled.
Please unpack the pipette and tip boxes outside the laboratory area to prevent contamination of the pack components. By doing so, the packaging can be easily recycled through regular recycling channels, avoiding the need for energy-intensive and costly decontamination processes.
Eppendorf pipettes and dispensers are designed for many years of use – should the need arise to dispose of a pipette however, please note that it may potentially be contaminated. Therefore, recycling may be challenging. Please contact your local biosafety officer and/or your local waste management. In many countries, this waste must be burned due to legal restrictions. It is recommended you work with a certified local recycling partner with experience in lab waste however to examine your options.
