This webinar introduces an analytical method that utilizes ion-exchange chromatography to separate and analyze oligonucleotides of different lengths.

The primary focus is on eliminating impurities that are produced during the synthesis process. The method incorporates an inert ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography system, liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, and automated data analysis software.

These components work together to facilitate efficient oligonucleotide development and quality control. The results emphasize the challenges associated with metal-based methods and propose a metal-free approach for precise quantification. Additionally, a high-resolution ion-pair reversed-phase LC-MS system is presented for accurate separation and mass analysis of oligonucleotides.

The developed method also offers sensitive, precise, and reproducible results, making it an invaluable tool for various scientific fields, including therapeutic oligonucleotide-based drug development and quality control.
